The Law of Attraction: Stop Attracting the “Wrong Stuff”

By Honey B. Wackx

What’s the “wrong stuff”? It’s the wrong people, the wrong thoughts, and the wrong situations. What we want to do is the exact opposite and get the “right stuff” in our corner. It’s so much better when good things happen to us. It makes life feel much more worthwhile. We can tie in the results with the Law of Attraction.

Do you find that there is a self-destructive streak that you fall into? Does your social life involve people that sabotage themselves or always seem to be in some sort of difficulty? Does it seem like everyone else gets the good stuff and you get the leftovers? What we draw into our lives can be due to our fears, background, and habits. If the wrong stuff happens we need to uproot the old and make changes to attract a better or different lifestyle or environment.

Though a lot of people read or may have heard that our energy attracts our circumstances, it isn’t always easy to see how. It’s also difficult to understand the mechanisms involved when we block positive changes and why we still continue to attract unhealthy situations.

If you find that you are still surrounded by an environment that has lots of flaws in it and you desperately want to change things for the better, it’s time to stand back and take a good look at yourself. Are you on some level drawn to addictive behaviors or people who embody that lifestyle? Maybe unthinkingly your friends or associates have these behaviors and you are emulating them. If so, you need to avoid those people or situations and try to associate yourself with those who have good traits. The Law of Attraction will help draw good things your way.

Try to see which of your friends seem helpful to you in reaching your higher goals. Are the conversations you have with people often about personal failures and past mistakes? Can you change the energy in these dialogues so that you attract something new, something better, something good? It is helpful to be around others that are seeking their dreams and goals rather than those that feel defeated.

Sometimes we can’t avoid those people and in such cases maybe you could spend much less time with them or find something positive to occupy your mind and time. Get involved with your hobby. Go back to school and take a continuing education class doing something you enjoy or missed taking when you were in school. Such actions will keep your mind occupied in other levels and should help toward breaking away from the negativity you face.

When you wake up in the morning, read something that will fill you with your new outlook. You don’t want to reinforce your old attitude. Don’t start the day out with negatives such as, “I’ll never finish that report today”, “I’ll buy that cheesecake tonight and get back on my diet tomorrow” or “just one cigarette this morning, and then I’ll stop for good”. You are feeding these thoughts when you do this. Instead visualize the ideal situation, write it down and give thanks and appreciation for it manifesting. Envision the life you want to live in detail. The more detail the better.

Look at what you are wearing, your friends, and the day to day life you picture. The more vivid you can make this mind illusion, the sharper your focus will become and it won’t be just a vague hope or wish but a full-bodied reality. The results of the Law of Attraction will become noticeable. Each day nourish yourself with this visualization to firmly plant it in your subconscious mind. That is the seed to your new state of being, that state of attracting the “good stuff”.
