Lately I’ve been on a quest to keep some of my sites updated regularly. Unfortunately I have too many to do that for all of them so I am putting a few websites up for sale plus some of my domain names. However I am managing to keep a handful nearly up to date. I even started posting entries to my personal blog where I try to post what I am doing on a daily basis toward internet marketing.
This page has some diversions I am working on or involved in to take my mind off of all this web stuff although some of it is related to or is web stuff. But if so it’s easy and not a daily task as seen on my blog. See if any of these interest you.

Evolving throughout its centuries long history, Ayurveda, a holistic approach to health, has as its purpose the goal of helping people live long, well-balanced, and healthy lives. Only fairly recently has Ayurveda become popular in the Western world. Some countries are quicker to embrace it than others; nonetheless it is catching on at a rapidly expanding pace.

Ayurveda remains an influential system of medicine in South Asia. The earliest literature on Indian medical practice appeared during the Vedic period in India. The Sushruta Samhita and the Charaka Samhita influenced traditional medicine during that time period. Over the succeeding centuries, Ayurvedic practitioners developed quite a few surgical procedures and medicinal preparations for the treatment of various ailments.
In Western medicine, Ayurveda is classified as a system of complementary and alternative medicine that is used to complement, rather than replace, the treatment regimen and relationship that exists between a patient and their existing physician. African Safari

Sometimes you need to get away for a while, forget about your problems and let go. Well my getaway slightly more than a year ago was to go on my first safari. This used to be the adventure for only the wealthy, but with careful planning, knowledge and persistence almost anyone can now enjoy an African Safari. It does take some money, but surprising enough, there are many places here in the United States that cost as much or more than a full-blown African Safari.
As an example of some African Safari scenes and people here are some large pictures of our May-June 2010 Tanzania, Africa Safari that Safari Kay took us on. Note that this is a temporary site for these pictures and they may be taken down when I am ready to put a membership or other website there on that premium domain name.
All the planning, accommodations, flight plans, tours, mini-safaris, balloon safari, and camping out on the Serengeti (in luxury tents) for the main safari, was handled by Safari Kay. If you are interested in this once-in-a-lifetime adventure (It really is!) contact her for more information.

My self-help ideas are not for everyone, but what I have found now is quite a bit of enjoyment putting up websites for myself and family. I have dozens of sites, in fact so many it is hard to keep up with all of them. That’s why I am not able to update this site as often as I’d like. My site-building for myself is coming to an end (almost), but for any readers who would like a website, but don’t want to handle the technical stuff, want an easy to update and maintain website check out my service.
Inspirational Stories

Most of us like to hear inspirational stories. It tends to bring out the human feelings in us. There does not seem to be enough inspiration in ordinary life, especially if you watch the news where it seems like only the bad things get the emphasis. Well here is a site looking for inspirational stories. If you have one – write up a short article about it and submit it to Thulia.com.
Do you know any others that might have an interesting inspirational story? Let them know about the site. This is another of my sites I have not had the time to update nearly as often as I would like. In fact it would be great if I could find someone willing to run the site (a volunteer) or help run it. The site makes no money at the present time so I am unable to pay, but it could be good learning experience for the right person.
Bird Quotes

We often get caught up in so many things, little gets done. It’s these times it is often a good idea to break away from whatever you are doing and give your mind a break, as well as your body. I have created a just-for-fun website that showcases bird quotes. You’ve heard many of them before, maybe even referring to yourself. Maybe you have said some of them to others.
At any rate, if you want a little diversion take a look at some of the many bird quotes I have added to the site. If you know one that should be added (assuming it’s not there already) submit your bird quote on the submission form on the site. Take a look and refresh your mind. Leave a comment, take the poll, or if you have a bird image you want the world to see let me know and maybe I can add it to the site.

I have been quite involved in Internet Marketing lately. It’s almost been in a detrimental way because I have managed to neglect many other activities. This website as well as others have seen the effects of this.
I set up a small site at FourteenBucks.com to sell some of the many internet marketing products I have accumulated and am constantly getting from some of the membership sites I belong to. My spending spree can be to your advantage if you are an internet marketer or want to be and you want a low cost alternative to high priced memberships to get your products.
If you happen to be interested in Twitter I have just loaded a bunch of Twitter products all available in a “Twitter Superstore” bundle for a low price. These are products you can sell or use yourself, according to the rights or license attached to each product.

Astronomy and Space

Do you like astronomy or knowing more about space? Here’s a site that’s informing you of the goings on in space and astronomy. It’s not real technical compared to some other websites covering space and the happenings going on “out there”. You don’t have to be deep in physics or astronomy to gain some knowledge regarding the stars, planets, galaxies, and other interesting phenomena that exists away from earth. Many of the things going on with NASA are covered with links to the original NASA information or originating site so you can get more in-depth and complete coverage. So if you are interested in StarTrek – whoops, I mean space, then take a look at Stellary.com.
